Subject:[Fwd: E-Dissertations and Other Thesis/Dissertation News] From:Laszlo Mihaly Date:Mon, 23 Apr 2007 16:52:43 -0500 To:PAFAC-L@lists.sunysb.edu The Graduate School will accept dissertations in electronic form. Guidelines are here: http://www.grad.stonybrook.edu/gradinfo/forms/EDissertations.pdf A few things will not change: -- Printed versions of the Ph.D. thesis should be distributed to the Exam Committee members well before the exam, so that they can make comments and suggestions as usual. -- The "Signature Sheet" needs special attention. Students should print it and bring it to the exam, just as before. -- The collection of printed Ph.D. works in the Department's office is a valuable asset, and we wish to maintain it. The current plan is to make printouts from the electronic versions twice a year.
