Laszlo -------- Original Message -------- Subject: PCCM summer school in condensed matter physics Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2007 14:15:49 -0400 From: Fiona J Burnell (fburnell@Princeton.EDU) To: fburnell@Princeton.EDU, claumann@Princeton.EDU, minhyeal@Princeton.EDU We would like to inform you that our third annual mini-summer school in Condensed Matter Physics will be held at Princeton University this August 13-16. We would appreciate if you could forward this message to all interested parties, particularly students and postdocs, or a person that informs people in your department about such events. The school will cover a range of topics in condensed matter physics. The program is designed to be pedagogical in nature and graduate students and postdocs are especially encouraged to attend. There is no registration fee and lunch will be provided. Interested participants from nearby universities are encouraged to commute in for the lectures. A limited number of campus rooms are available (for a fee) for students not within commuting distance. A list of speakers and topics, as well as information about registration, may be found on the website: http://www.princeton.edu/~pccm/Symposium/summerschool2007.htm Sincerely, Fiona Burnell, Minhyea Lee, and Chris Laumann (organizing comittee) -- ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Laszlo Mihaly Graduate Program Director Department of Physics and Astronomy Stony Brook University 631 632-8279 laszlo.mihaly@sunysb.edu ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
