Aims & Scope

eXtreme QCD (XQCD) is a series of international workshop-style conferences, held annually, which aims to cover recent advances in the theory and phenomenology of QCD under extreme conditions of temperature and/or baryon density, together with related topics. This year's meeting is co-organised by Stony Brook University and Brookhaven National Laboratory.

The Chiral Limit of QCD
The Sign Problem at Nonzero Chemical Potential
The Chiral Magnetic Effect
The Role of Topology in QCD
The QCD Phase Diagram
QCD in Lower Dimensions
Random Matrix Theories
Dirac Spectra in Lattice QCD
QCD at Large Nc
State of Heavy Ion Physics at RHIC and LHC
Complex Langevin Simulations
Relativistic Hydrodynamics

Dates & Venue

The workshop will take place at Stony Brook University 19-21 June 2014 (the week before the Lattice Conference). Reservations can be made on the hotel website, and in order to get the price of $ 119 (+ tax) you need to mention the group code XQCD. The deadline for the hotel reservation is May 19, 2014. A conference dinner will be organized on June 20, 2014. 2014 for which you can sign up during during the registeration. The registration fee is $ 100 (to be paid on the first day of the conference), and deadline for scientific registration is Monday May 19 2014 to be eligible for the on Campus hotel and June 2nd 2014 otherwise.
